FOREVER CALENDER – MIDDLE AGES COLLECTION
THE PASSION FOR HERITAGE AT THE SERVICE OF THE ENVIRONMENT
The Perpetual Calendars © GuidedTour are entirely printed in Biel and are committed to paper waste reduction.
They last 40 years and propose an unprecedented adaptation of the Julian and Gregorian calendar to paper format. The tables are based on the algorithm used by the medieval Church to calculate the date of Easter. A compact seven calendar version completes the calendar. It allows retrieving the days of the week in only three seconds without any calculation.
Our perpetual calendars are also available in a double-sided version covering two years. This gives them the right variety that will be enjoyed by all the nostalgic of single use consumption.
Like our guided tours, the images of our calendars emphasize the materiality of medieval thought. Chronography, art and archaeology: three ways of reliving the magic of the medieval notion of “place”.
